Stated briefly, I will simply try to clarify what the debate over climate change is really about. It most certainly is not about whether climate is changing: it always is. It is not about whether CO2 is increasing: it clearly is. It is not about whether the increase in CO2, by itself, will lead to some warming: it should. The debate is simply over the matter of how much warming the increase in CO2 can lead to, and the connection of such warming to the innumerable claimed catastrophes. The evidence is that the increase in CO2 will lead to very little warming, and that the connection of this minimal warming (or even significant warming) to the purported catastrophes is also minimal. The arguments on which the catastrophic claims are made are extremely weak – and commonly acknowledged as such. They are sometimes overtly dishonest.

Never thought that could happen here until I walked across Leicester Sq before Christmas...
I know I sound old but it's the children that astonish me - even in winter they hardly wear any clothes from the secondary school. I have belts as wide as their skirts. And the boys walk out in the road in front of your car as clear act of defiance.

I think I spotted several of these girls handing out leaflets at the Autoport Show last weekend.
Oh, Philippa, don't talk to me about not wearing clothes to school! I am talking here of a basic physical welfare issue rather than slutdom..but the BG walks to school in his ludicrously flimsy polyester blazer and a near-on transparent M&S 10 for a fiver shirt and WILL NOT wear his school jumper...Not , he claims, because it is uncool to do so, but because he is HOT ( and not in a slut way!). Yeah, right. Hot walking to school in minus 2 but cold when it comes to re-stocking the woodpile in plus 8. Humph.

There are constant spillages of this kind. A difficult cargo to contain as this video shows.
There is nothing unattractive about such spillage after a few bottles of 'redneck' as any boy will attest, ( I seem to hazily recall ).
More slippery than black ice but not nearly as dangerous as thinking your mum will find them worthy!
