NEW RELEASE

You remember Vol I, I take it (right): if it wasn't ghost written, I'm Cicely Saunders (no, I hadn't a clue either).
McBust presides over an economy as desperate and as Donald Duck-ed as any since 1931; Winston spent less beating the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe. I simply don't believe he had the time or the inclination to write this drivel. He was put up to it by his sweaty coterie of Spads who seem to think that associating their man with 'courage' - indeed, claiming he is fascinated by it - will somehow make us think that he's not the big feartie we all really know he is.
But he has ploughed on regardless and given us Vol II (left). I think he found more in common with these brave types. Who do you think we'll find in Vol III?

NO ALIBHAI
On another subject - I am preparing a boxfull of rotting vegetables and useless old golfballs to throw at the telly tonight when Question Time is on (NB - early, at 9pm). Leading for the Government is that self-regarding diva, Ben Dover-Bradshaw; the calm, rich-by-his-own-devices Wm Hague represents the Blues. St Vincent of Cable represents the other chaps.
If you want 'courage' ("we do, Idle, we do!") the plucky and very splendid Marta Andreasen, she who refused to sign off on the Olympian troughing, eye-watering fraud, and general Kinnockisms of the EU Parliament, is there for UKIP (what a coup getting her - way to go, Farage).
But then ..... that utterly appalling, idiotic and ignorant self-publicist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown. Of all the laymen that they could have booked to represent the unaligned punter, and they pick her. I'll be needing a lot more rotting veg........

Actually Yah-lie-bye was pretty quiet.
She must have really believed Tony's end to corruption message. How disappointing for her this scandal must be.

Speaking of Scandal, I notice the absence of Tony McNulty from the Television.
Do you think McNulty looks a bit like one of your old scandal hit chums Dr Stephen Ward Mr Idle?
Will it all end the same way?

During my diligent research into a previous government meltdown I came across a picture I discovered a sketch, drawn by the late doctor, of Mandy Rice-Davies.
Knowing your interest for charcoal images and fine art I think you might like a peek.

Bingo - McNulty has been staying with his parents while the dust settles, so he is many (6) miles from his constituency and Westminster.

Say what you like about him, but Stephen was always reliable for a prescription when one was feeling tired and emotional.

I do remember that view of Mandy. Cheeky little thing. Always very keen on pets.

I missed QT tonight as I was fascinated by 'Extreme Male Beauty' on another channel. I like William Hague but don't like the Alibhaba Brown woman.

Bill - sad head for trivia that I have I remembered a journalist that had Christine Keeler in his bed. He tells us he wasn't in it at the time. Perhaps he didn't inhale either.

I shall watch it later. Elby has had more running repairs and I am on nursing duty.

William Hague has written a similar book "Courage - 8 pints of Directors please". Boom boom.

I do rather like the left hand cover, by the way. Enjoy the long weekend.

I've seen Ben B at Exeter a number of times.

Silky smooth.

As my first (American, North Carolina) boss in the City used to say, e-k - smooth as snake shit.

At the risk of self-promotion, this was my interpretation of Gordon's book.

I can't tell you how difficult I found it to do my photoshop, lakes. I nearly emailed you for help.

Very apt Iders, compare the rubbish that he's probably, (I haven't read it) written, to that of the ex SAS guy who got the info out in the first place, and exposed his 'courage'...

You have to be very brave to complain to the fees office.

Lakelander - that cover is brilliant!

Idle: When I created my version a while back, I remember it took a disproportionaltely long time (and involved creating 9 layers in Photoshop.)

Plato: you are too kind!

That cover made me choke on my lime marmalade. I shall dust of the George Macdonald Fraser and start re-reading today
