Vince Cable, on taking up his Cabinet post in 2010:

"I am looking forward to running Britain's businesses and enterprises. I shall invite all CEOs of FTSE350 companies to send me their business plans for the years ahead. Their cashflow will greatly help us achieve uniformity of wealth in Great Britain. Would the last ones to leave from Heathrow, Gatwick and Dover please turn out the lights".

Easy taxes and the tolerable administration of justice is not the intention.

There has been a Leftist coup in this country.

They don't like us having money and thinking for ourselves.

At least we have a Ukip vote with which to show our frustrations.
