ReplyDeleteI've always wondered at the alacrity that politicians can 'invent' a 'market', just by getting the BBC and others to admit to some obscure finding by a dead scientist, and suddenly, Bob's your uncle, we have global warming, odd weather, and now, power struggles which aren't nuclear. (Which is the only way to make cheap electricity).

They can spin this one out for years. Bastards.

I wonder how long those panels last? Is it about...20 years?
BQ, no, it's nothing like twenty years - especially if you don't take the trouble to clean them properly two or three times a year (as they're usually on the roof, nobody does this). And there are other, more expensive, components of these systems - electronics - that certainly won't last twenty years.
