Weird

Just a thought:

Who, in their right mind, would come up with a pair of 'mascots' for the Olympic and Paralympic Games which were stub-legged, short-armed and one-eyed?

The one on the right looks as though he's wet himself.

Not, surely, the image one is trying to project.

  1. Perhaps they are meant to represent Gordon Brown?

  2. Since they are obviously intended to represent Mrs and Mr (feminised new age and all that) Contended New Age and All That Euro Machine Part, I'd say they are precisely the image someone New Age and All That is trying to project and I'm sure that, somewhere, someone NA&AT is disappointed that you have not embraced the NA&AT with open arms.

All of this was foretold, and long ago: predictions of hermetically sealed domes, atomic powered hover cars, silver suits, admonitions to 'take your protein pills and put your helmet on' etc. etc. etc. ...

It's nice, really it is, if you'll just forget ...

    Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

It is perfectly in keeping with the crassness of the 2012 logo, which to my jaundiced eye (and I am assured that I am not alone here) looks like somebody doing something decidedly unsavoury to somebody else.

    Should I revisit Specsavers?

PS: I wonder how much it cost to design and produce these two one-eyed dolls.
