You make a good point about the blues. Blues only works if you are facing disaster, rather than sipping mint juleps at the golf 'n country club on a balmy evening in Louisiana.
Agreed that she is nowhere near ready to be a veep, but the other side of the coin is that she is probably 100 times smarter than Dan Quayle and 10% as dangerous as Cheney.
I say let them drill for oil on the North Slope. The Alaskan wilderness can comfortably coexist with a pipeline and a nodding donkey or two.
