  1. I sincerely hope that pidgeon s*** doesn't melt wax Idle!

I still have fond memories of watching the winner's bus four years ago. At one stage, in Piccadilly circus, I just couldn't move at all, it was absolutely packed with well-wishers!

Today is going to be a momentous occasion; the tension is building already...

Thanks for supporting the Auld Enemy anyway!

  2. No probs scrobs. I had a real problem with the England rugby team in the Carling/Richards era, when they were insufferable, and would have supported North Korea or Germany against them.

But this team is a dogged bunch who have done great things in the last two matches and I think they are superbly led by Vickery, who I hold in high esteem. Wilkinson is the model professional sportsman - skillful, courageous, yet modest and a complete gent.

  3. In fairness to Ken he needs to celebrate the sort of people he'd like a lot more of about the place hence the appearance of Alison on the plinth....

Mark my words, if anyone starts secretly introducing thalidomide into London water it'll be a leftie on a constituency-creating exercise.

  4. I see. In the city of the gimps, the conventionally-limbed newt fancier, no matter how unathletic, is king.

This might be why Boris has affected the look and manner of a Down's syndrome sufferer.
