Conservative Home sums up my opinion of the Conservative party.
Norman Tebbit was always one of my favourites.
Pity the Chingford Strangler is not standing.
I'm not so sure about this, Idle.
I don't believe in the EU. It is an illegal entity as far as I'm concerned and to participate in any of its elections is to endorse it by default.
Mass spoiling of papers is the way to go.
'I want out of the EU' written on each of them.
e-k, the logic of Tebbit's argument is that people vote for UKIP, who agree with what you say.
Spoiling papers will result, at best, with a VOID election = no change.

Imagine if nobody voted...
The papers would run the classic Pravda "99% vote for Stalin" yet every citizen would smirk, knowing the real truth.
If the USSR can fall peacefully, so can the EU. Stop playing their game, pick up the ball and go home.
It's SO easy.
UKIP is full of Bisto kids too !
Once they smell that lovely EU gravy ...
And while I'm here. I've heard the BNP mentioned as a protest voting option. What does the EU become very rapidly if disatisfied people decide to vote extremist for whatever reason ?
Oh b*gg*r it!
I have just spluttered my morning coffee all over my keyboard after reading your brilliant headline. My compliments!
PS: I seem to have mislaid my cycle clips this morning, so I shall justhave to stay home..
Thank you, rvi. I was worried it might have been missed. Or worse, that readers thought I couldn't spell.
"An incoming Conservative government will face isolation and the political enmity of Germany and France for not "cooperating" with the Lisbon European Union Treaty, Angela Merkel has warned."
OH, E-K - over half the electorate (even if it doesn't bother voting) is happy with being a member of the EU. I hope headlines like the one above from yesterday will convert a few of them to our side.
Half the electorate ?
How do we know without a referendum ? (Note that I say "I want a referendum on continuing membership ..." and not "I want out ..."
As a former polecat owner (in me youth) I do not accept the implication they smell. They do in fact have a rather nice scent, which is quite different. Must admit you need nerve to let 'em down or up you trousers. But you could say that about the "Axeman"!
